Travelling by Bus to Rathfarnham Centre

City Centre 74a from Britain Quay to Stocking Avenue:

1st Stage Britain Quay (Grand Canal Dock)
2nd Stage Pearse Street
3rd Stage College Street/Fleet St. (most students get bus from this point at 08.05am)

Get off at Bloomfield Care Centre / Quaker House roundabout.

From South by road (M50) to Rathfarnham Centre

Take Exit (12) Firhouse (J12)

Turn right onto roundabout, sign post Ballyboden/Knocklyon (cross over M50).

At roundabout go straight to Ballyboden / Knocklyon.

* At next roundabout take 2nd exit straight which will bring your past St. Colmcille’s School (on right hand side)

At next roundabout take 3rd exit on right signpost Kilakee / Edmonstown

Go approximately 300 yards and turn right onto Stocking Lane at junction, signpost Quaker House / Bloomfield and also Glencree / Sallygap.

Go ½ mile up road over M50 bridge and AFTER ROUNDABOUT turn left (signpost Bloomfield & Quaker House)

Parking on left.

From North by road (M50) to Rathfarnham Centre

Take Exit (12) Firhouse (J12)

When you leave slip road turn left

At next roundabout, pick up signs as above *

Traveling by Bus to Ballymun Centre

Ballymun Centre is served by buses no. 4, 13, 13A, 17A, 46X, 58X, 103, 104 & 220:

• No. 4 from O'Connell Street
• No. 13 & 13A from O'Connell Street
• 17A from Finglas
• 103 & 104 from Cappagh Hospital Finglas
• 220 from all parts of Blanchardstown

The bus stop for northbound routes from the city centre is located past the Ballymun Shopping Centre, 300 yds after Supervalu on the left side of Ballymun's main street. On exiting the bus walk up to the lights at Days Hotel (very large hotel on right), go left at the lights, up St. Margaret's Road, then first right and immediate left, Musgraves Cash N Carry is a good landmark. HTUC is located just past Musgraves on the right.

Getting to Ballymun Centre by car from the city centre

Landmarks you will see before you reach the centre as your travel North along the Ballymun Road include:

• Entrance to Dublin City University on your right
• Our Lady of Victories Church on your right
• Junction of Collins' Ave and Glasnevin Ave
• Library on your left
• New swimming pool on your left (glass fronted shaped like a wave)
• Supervalu on your left
• Ballymun Shopping Centre on your left
• Travelodge Hotel on right
• Your bus stop now on left

Getting to Ballymun Centre by car from the M50

Take the Ballymun Exit 5 (the same exit as long term car-parking for the airport) and travel south towards the city along the Ballymun Road .

• Topaz service station on your left
• IKEA on right
• Days Hotel
• Musgraves Cash N Carry
